DC Thomson taps Leckie as health and wellbeing editor

Samantha Leckie

DC Thomson has promoted Samantha Leckie to the post of health and wellbeing editor, a role in which she will be working across the Evening Express and the Press and Journal.

Previously, she served as an assistant editor across both papers, as well as being the editor of Society. She was also head of features at the Evening Express and the Evening Telegraph.

Leckie also held various roles at Aberdeen Journals during her more than ten years working there, including news reporter/features writer, assistant content editor and head of planning.

She previously interned at STV Commercial and BP.

Leckie is a B.A. in journalism from The Robert Gordon University.
