Daily Dot hires Jefferson as executive editor

Whitney Jefferson

Whitney Jefferson has joined The Daily Dot as an executive editor. Recently, she was managing editor at BuzzFeed News, where she worked for 11 years.

Previously, Jefferson was an associate editor at Jezebel. She interned at and then served as an associate editor at Gawker. She also interned at Sports Illustrated.

Jefferson graduated from the University of Connecticut.
