Bloomberg Media exec Beizer is leaving the company

Julia Beizer

Julia Beizer, the chief operating officer of Bloomberg Media, is leaving the company after eight years to join Microsoft, reports Mark Stenberg of Adweek.

Stenberg reports, “Beizer will lead Microsoft’s AI news product and work under Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman, according to a person with direct knowledge of the move.

“Beizer confirmed to ADWEEK that she is leaving Bloomberg Media this month, although she declined to comment on her new appointment. Microsoft did not return a request for comment.

“‘I’m currently wrapping up eight incredible years at Bloomberg,’ Beizer said.

“Beizer joined Bloomberg Media in 2018 as its chief product officer, before later becoming its chief digital officer. She has held the chief operating officer role since July 2024.”
