Condé Nast Traveler appoints Ortile editor and columnist for print and digital

Matt Ortile

Condé Nast Traveler has hired Matt Ortile as an editor and columnist for print and digital. Recently, he was at Catapult Magazine in New York, where he worked as a managing editor, and then as executive editor.

Ortile has held the posts of education and culture coordinator, global social media strategist, Philippines editor and global publishing lead at BuzzFeed, where he was also an editorial fellow.

He interned at Hearst’s magazine Town and County and at Condé Nast.

Ortile has a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in New York.
