Colorado Public Radio has promoted Alexandra Scoville to audience editor. Recently, she held the post of digital news producer. She wrote on Twitter:
“I really believe in the potential of journalism outlets, especially local and community-supported ones, to be better providers of news and better reflections of the people they serve. and I believe these kind of roles help make that change.”
Prior to joining Colorado Public Radio in April 2018, Scoville was at The Denver Post. There, she wrote features, crime blotters and other topics for the paper’s weekly hyper-local YourHub inserts. She interned at azcentral.com, 5280 Magazine, Cities West Publishing, Alabama Media Group and The Arizona Republic.
Scoville has a bachelor’s degree in digital/print journalism from Arizona State University.
