Adam Rhodes will be staying on with the Chicago Reader once his social justice reporting fellowship concludes in August.
Rhodes joined the Reader last year from Medill Reports where he was a reporter. Before that, he was with Law360 for more than four years, joining as a news assistant.
He then served as a news apprentice and later as a reporter.
Previously, Rhodes freelanced for Seminole Voice and Insight Magazine. He was also a blogger for HypeOrlando. Rhodes has also worked as a variety editor and then as an entertainment editor at Central Florida Future.
He has also interned at Professional Artist Magazine and was managing editor at Centric magazine.
Rhodes holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
