The Toronto Star has tapped Bruce Campion-Smith as head of the editorial board. Recently, Campion-Smith held the post of public editor.
Campion-Smith has been with the Star since 1988, when he joined as a general assignment reporter. He served as a transportation beat reporter, assistant city editor, editorial writer, parliamentary reporter and Ottawa bureau chief.
Campion-Smith has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ryerson University and a master’s degree in journalism from Carleton University.
