California’s KNBC-TV station hires Sedano as an anchor

The following was sent out from Media Moves:

Annabelle Sedano

KNBC has hired Annabelle Sedano as an anchor for the Los Angeles station’s weekday 3 and 5 pm newscasts.

Sedano will anchor NBC4 news at 3 pm alongside meteorologists Shanna Mendiola and Stephanie Olmo. She will co-anchor the station’s 5 pm newscast with veteran anchor Colleen Williams.

She’ll make her on-air debut in early April.

Sedano left KMEX 34 in late February to do the crossover. She had been a morning news anchor at Univision’s L.A. station for the past 10 years.

Prior to joining KMEX, the L.A. native was a general assignment reporter and anchor at KRCA Canal 62.
