He also worked as a news anchor and reporter at KOMO-TV Ch. 4, an ABC and CW affiliate in Seattle; CBS station WINK-TV Ch. 11 in Fort Myers, Fla.; KAKE-TV Ch. 10, an ABC outlet in Wichita; and at Amarillo CBS station KFDA-TV Ch. 10.
Thompson has a B.A. in journalism and broadcasting from Ithaca College in New York and an M.A. in strategic communication from Washington State University.
