Boston Globe hires Villa as national political reporter

Lissandra Villa

Lissandra Villa will join The Boston Globe’s D.C. bureau as a national political reporter, covering the midterms. She was a national politics reporter at BuzzFeed and previously a staff writer at Time.

She also interned at NPR, Time Magazine, The Des Moines Register and The Gazette Company.

Villa graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science.
