Vox Media Union reaches tentative agreement

Vox Media Union has reached a tentative deal with management on a new contract. As noted in the Hollywood Reporter, the bargaining unit’s approximately 350 editorial and video staff members will move on to a ratification vote. The timing of the deal is crucial as 95 percent of union members had signed a strike pledge.

Union members are set to participate in a ratification vote for the tentative agreement this week.

A spokesperson for Vox Media said:

“This package is the product of months of bargaining, and we’re grateful to the committees on both sides of the table. The agreement reflects our commitment to investing in our employees and being the place where they can do their best work.”
