Boston Globe transportation reporter Vaccaro joins sustainability nonprofit

Adam Vaccaro, transportation reporter at The Boston Globe, has left to join the communications team at sustainability nonprofit Ceres, reports Politico.

Vaccaro had been with the Globe for more than 7 years, joining as a senior writer. He has also worked as a staff writer and a web producer/writer – The Build Network at Inc. Magazine. He was also a business reporter at The Patriot Ledger.

He was also co-editor at Somerville Scout Magazine and has freelanced for America Online’s Patch network, The Nashua Telegraph and Comcast SportsNet New England. He has also interned at CSNNE.com and Comcast SportsNet.

Vaccaro is a B.A. in communications and political science from Emmanuel College, Boston, and holds a master’s degree in print and multimedia journalism from Emerson College.
