Diana Li, a wealth reporter at Bloomberg, has taken on the role of consumer reporter.
In her new role, she will help cover consumer facing companies with a particular focus on big-box retailers such as Walmart and Target.
Li joined in June 2022 as an energy reporter intern. In January 2023, she joined the staff full-time as a credit reporter. Later, she took on the post of technology reporter. She also interned as a wealth management reporter at Financial Planning, and was a real estate reporter at Mingtiandi, a source of real estate news in Asia.
She also interned at Thomson Reuters, the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Li has a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from Tsinghua University in Beijing and a master’s degree from New York University.
