Veteran BBC news anchor and correspondent Katty Kay is leaving her post to join OZY Media as a senior editor and executive producer, reports Politico.
Kay has been with BBC for 19 years, along with being a Washington correspondent and lead anchor. She has been a frequent contributor to Meet the Press and Morning Joe at MSNBC for more than 12 years.
She was also a correspondent at The Times of London and a Tokyo correspondent at BBC News.
Kay is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller “WOMENOMICS.” Her other book, also with Claire Shipman, is the New York Times bestseller, “THE CONFIDENCE CODE: The Science and Art of Self Assurance – What Women Should Know.”
Kay is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
