Stuart Forrest will join Bauer Media Group as global SEO director of its publishing business. He will begin on June 12.
Bauer Media reports:
“In his new role at Bauer Media Group, he will be responsible for technical SEO, creating effective and harmonised ways of working regarding SEO actions in UK and Germany including supporting our content strategy and portfolio for audience growth through organic traffic.
“Forrest will be based in London and work closely with both Charlie Calton-Watson, Chief Digital Officer in the UK and Chief Innovation Officer Inga Leister in Germany.”
Commenting on his appointment, Forrest said:
“I’m pleased and excited to be joining Bauer at what’s clearly a key moment in its digital transformation journey. My whole career has been in media, and I’ve always enjoyed working closely with content, technology and commercial teams to reach and engage consumers with world class quality content. I’m looking forward to working with Bauer’s teams to realise what I see as enormous growth potential.”
He will join from Future, where he recently served as senior VP, audience and marketing. He has also worked at Immediate Media Co. and Haymarket Media Group.
Forrest has a B.A. from the University of Essex.
