The New York Times has named Arran Bardige executive director of audience, Opinion and sub-brands. The Times reports:
“Arran is charged with growing and further engaging the audience that comes to The New York Times for our suite of products and for commentary beyond the news, and we can’t think of someone better suited to take on this exciting challenge.”
Recently, Bardige served as executive director, data and insights, for audience, storytelling and publishing. His previous posts were executive director and director of data and insights for audience.
He was also on the board of directors at Mother Jones and held the posts of international business data partner and director of data and insights at The Guardian.
He also served as manager and then as associate director of analytics and insights at The Daily Beast.
Bardige has a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and an MBA from Cornell University.
