Taylor R. Avery has joined the Las Vegas Review-Journal as NV state capital bureau reporter to cover state government and politics.
Recently, she was an intern at the Chicago Sun-Times, where she wrote in-depth enterprise news articles on Illinois governments. She also interned at USA Today, Nevada News Alliance, Reno Gazette-Journal and Los Angeles Times.
She was a stringer at The Associated Press.
Avery has a B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno and a M.A. from the University of Illinois Springfield.
