Philly Inquirer taps Blumgart to cover commercial real estate

Jake Blumgart has joined the Philadelphia Inquirer to cover commercial real estate.

Recently, he was a senior reporter at Governing.

Previously, he was a staff writer at City Monitor and a news reporter at WHYY-FM 90.9. He also contributed to Next City, an urban policy and politics web magazine. He was also a culture columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Blumgart graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.
