Australia’s ABC appoints Mannheim Saudi Arabia correspondent

Markus Mannheim

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation has named Markus Mannheim its first correspondent based in NEOM’s The Line, a smart city in Saudi Arabia.

Mannheim joined ABC in September 2019 as a digital producer. He also served as a data analyst and journalist.

Previously, he worked at The Canberra Times for more than 14 years. There, he held the posts of journalist, senior sub-editor, news editor and senior journalist.

Mannheim graduated from UNSW in Sydney.
