Sharon Lurye has joined The Associated Press as a data journalist on the K-12 education team. Previously, she was a data fellow at U.S. News & World Report.
She has worked previously for PhillyVoice.com, the Burlington County Times in Willingboro, N.J., and as a weekly writer for the Future of Learning newsletter, covering advancements in education technology and innovation.
A former intern at the Chicago Reader, Lurye has a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree from Columbia University, New York.
