Anderson to cover the city and government beat for the Virginian-Pilot

The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Va. has hired Natalie Anderson to cover the city and government beat. She joins from the Salisbury Post in North Carolina, where she covered politics and city government.

Anderson interned at The Desert Sun in Southern California and was a Capitol reporter at The Advocate in Baton Rouge, La. There, she covered Louisiana politics and government.

Anderson graduated from Louisiana State University, where she also served at the student paper, The Daily Reveille.
