Manuel Aguilera has been named VP and managing editor of conservative news start-up Americano Media.
In his new role, he’s in charge of planning and supervising editorial content strategy for radio, TV and digital.
He joined the company in October 2022 as digital managing editor, in charge of content strategy for AmericanoMedia.com.
Previously, he was VP of content and executive producer of documentaries for Guatemala’s republica.gt.
Aguilera was founder and CEO of the HispanoPost Media Group, a Spanish-language online editorial and video content platform.
His past experience includes positions as executive editor of Diario las Américas, director of news programming for Univision Interactive Media and executive editor of El Mundo’s Americas online edition.
