Shirin Ali

Shirin Ali has joined Slate as an associate writer for news and politics. Recently, Ali was a staff writer at The Hill.

She was a news associate at CNN, where she wrote for the trends team and focused on daily stories ranging from human interest topics to political breaking news.

Ali graduated from Northwestern University.
