“This Saturday night’s ABC News bulletin will be my last. After 30 years on and off at the ABC, I’m calling time. Like many people, I’ve been looking at life in a new way since the pandemic.”
Previously, Gearin held the posts of rural affairs reporter, current affairs reporter, Olympics reporter, Europe correspondent and national sports correspondent.
She also reported for Channel 9 and Channel 10 in Australia.
Gearin has a B.A. from the University of Canberra in Australia.
