Jenna Amatulli has joined The Independent as executive editor of news. Amatulli will manage a team of news, culture, politics, lifestyle and entertainment reporters based across the U.S. and U.K.
She is based in New York and is an adjunct journalism professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Previously, she was deputy editor at Jezebel and worked at HuffPost as an associate editor, trends reporter and senior editor.
She interned at Conde Nast Traveller and Vanity Fair.
Amatulli has a B.S. from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a M.A. from New York University.
