Laura Barrón-López will join PBS NewsHour as White House correspondent. She begins on June 13.
She has been a CNN analyst since 2019 and will continue in that role along with her new job. Recently, Barrón-López was a White House correspondent and national political reporter at Politico.
Barrón-López was also a political reporter at the Washington Examiner and covered Congress for The Huffington Post. She was an energy and environment reporter at The Hill.
Additionally, she reported for E&E News and interned at The Orange County Register, The Oregonian, and Roll Call.
Barrón-López graduated from California State University, Fullerton.
