Ciara Phelan, a political correspondent at the Irish Daily Mirror has left to join the Irish Examiner in the same role.
Phelan was a news reporter at Reach Ireland and was a digital journalist at Breakingnews.ie.
Phelan graduated from the University of Limerick.
