Jen Chung, senior editor at Gothamist.com/WNYC has left.
Her LinkedIn post reads:
“Creating Gothamist with Jake Dobkin gave me a reason to learn more about this incredible, vibrant, and, yes, sometimes frustrating place… and I am more in love with New York City than ever.
“As co-founder of Gothamist, I will always be grateful that when Gothamist was suddenly shuttered, WNYC Radio stepped up to preserve a vital local news outlet for New York City.
“Today, Gothamist is fully integrated into the WNYC newsroom and I can leave knowing it is in the hands of great journalists. I’ve been fortunate to be a part of Gothamist’s journey and New York Public Radio these past four years. I wish my colleagues much future success.”
Previously, she served as executive editor of Gothamist.com. She was VP of editorial at DNAinfo.
Chung graduated from Columbia University, New York.
