Lindsey Bever will join The Washington Post’s personal health and wellness team to “cover a variety of personal health topics and essential news. She will also develop deeply reported enterprise stories on chronic illness, mental health and navigating the medical system, among other issues.”
Bever begins Sept. 6.
Previously, Bever worked on the general assignment desk, where she covered national health news and contributed to pandemic coverage. She joined the Post as a founding reporter on the Morning Mix team.
She previously worked for The Dallas Morning News and wrote for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She interned at the Guardian U.S.
Bever has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
