Anne Fisher, the author of the “Work it Out” workplace column at Fortune, is leaving the publication next month.

“After a long career at Fortune magazine and Fortune.com, I’m now seeking freelance work in journalism or content marketing,” said Fisher.

Fisher spent several years covering various industries — autos, Wall Street and management trends — for Fortune before launching the popular “Ask Annie” career-advice column that ran from 1994 until 2016, followed by the workplace column “Work It Out” on Fortune.com.

She is currently writing Q&As with business-book authors at Monster.com, as part of an award-winning content marketing team.

Fisher is the author of two books, “Wall Street Women,” now being made into a TV series by producers Archer Gray, and “If My Career’s on the Fast Track, Where Do I Get a Road Map?”

She is available at annebf1957@gmail.com.
