Politico reporter Erin Banco, a global health correspondent covering the pandemic, has moved to the national security beat.
Before Politico she was a national security reporter at the Daily Beast. She was also an investigative reporter at The Star-Ledger and her bylines have also appeared in The New York Times, Foreign policy, Newsweek, CNN and more.
Banco was also a Middle East correspondent at IBT Media in Istanbul, Turkey.
Banco has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s from Columbia University.
