WSJ/Dow Jones seeks finance industry reporter in Asia

January 31, 2015

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires are looking for a reporter to cover Asia’s dynamic finance industry.

The reporter, who will be based in Hong Kong, will cover the region’s banks and the Asian operations of the world’s biggest financial firms. Banks are at the core of the region’s economies and the beat itself is core to the Journal and Dow Jones.

The reporter will cover strategy, regulation, deals, people and more. The goal on the beat is to break news, both exclusive stories and scoops of insight. The reporter will be part of our Asia finance team and will work closely with our banking reporters in New York and London.

We are looking for a reporter who is equally comfortable writing flash headlines and diving into data driven investigations. Experience building deep sources and a strong understanding of banking, markets, deals and financing are musts.
