WSJ seeks energy policy/EPA reporter in DC

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced reporter and excellent writer to cover energy and environmental policy out of Washington, a fast-changing area important to our readers as the new administration seeks to remake virtually every aspect of regulation across the industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in energy policy reporting and will be able to navigate his or her way around government agencies such the EPA and the Department of Energy, as well as Congress, and, occasionally, international groups formulating global accords.

Familiarity with key players, relevant agencies, and the government rule making process is important, as is the ability to write big-picture stories across other agencies as well to capture deregulatory trends across the government.

We seek a team player who can work with the Journal’s top-notch corporate reporters around the globe, working across real-time digital and print platforms.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
