The Wall Street Journal seeks a dynamic associate editor to help oversee markets coverage for online, wires and print.
The ideal candidate will have extensive reporting and editing experience at a national financial news organization or prominent local daily newspaper. The editor will handle all phases of news and production and must be a strong leader, facile manager and hard-headed reader and reporter.
Responsibilities will include helping develop story and graphic ideas for two-dozen-strong markets team, monitoring progress of content as it moves through the editing process and steering copy from raw form to web page or newsprint.
Duties can be demanding but rewards are outsized, shaping coverage of the top financial-news team on the planet.
