ABOUT THE ROLE
You must submit a short, 250-500 word pitch or a creative non-fiction story or personal essay, telling us about your unique gifts or talent, unheard of experiences, or eccentric profession (in the form of a Word document or PDF).
Urban Ivy is searching the globe for first-hand experiences and personal essays that showcase what makes you a truly unique gift to the world. They are looking for the weird, the wonderful and the wild. Nothing is off limits.
Are you an energy healer, a sidewalk comedian, or a light-painter? Are you a professional cuddler, a certified death doula or a graffiti artist? Are you a gifted cat whisperer or street performance rapper? Do you have a weird job? Have you lived any place of note? Do you have a personal story that sets you apart from the rest? Share it with us.
The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2022. Accepted entries can expect a response for the publication by March 15, 2022. There is no submission fee.

COMPENSATION
Each accepted submission (or pitch) will receive $250 USD as compensation for sharing their story and a copy of the book.
