The Shreveport-Bossier Advocate is seeking an experienced journalist to run our newsroom for the largest news organization in Louisiana and be a presence in the Shreveport-Bossier City community. We’re searching for someone who can coach reporters on daily and enterprise stories of all types while managing breaking news in a competitive digital media market.
The editor will lead a team of 9 journalists to launch and produce a new, daily digital news product – including a website, daily newsletters, an app and social media platforms. We’re looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in a startup environment and consistently seeks new ways to engage readers while upholding our standards of fairness and accuracy.
