The Shreveport-Bossier Advocate is seeking an experienced journalist to lead our cultural coverage for the largest news organization in Louisiana. Food, fashion, dining, music, or just what’s trending – we’re interested in it all. We’re searching for someone who can write punchy posts and stories, and also manage some freelancers, to capture the color and concerns of the Shreveport-Bossier City community.
The features editor will work as part of a team of 10 journalists to launch and produce a new, daily digital news product – including a website, daily newsletters, an app and social media platforms. We’re looking for a dynamic journalist who thrives in a startup environment and consistently seeks new ways to engage readers while upholding our standards of fairness and accuracy.
