The Real Deal seeks Los Angeles ME

The Real Deal, the leading publication covering the New York City and South Florida real estate markets, is looking for a managing editor for The Real Deal Los Angeles, launching this spring.

The right candidate is an experienced reporter/editor who has covered the local real estate beat and is eager to set the business news agenda daily with exclusive scoops. Candidates must be skilled at developing sources, reporting and writing original pieces as well as aggregating news from other publications (clean copy is a must!) and managing and editing freelance reporters. We are growing at warp speed and are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a minimum of five years of experience.

Considered the bible of New York and South Florida real estate, the award-winning The Real Deal is mandatory reading for everyone in the industry. Our print magazine in New York City has more than 130,000 readers and our sister consumer publication, Luxury Listings NYC, reaches the doorsteps of more than 100,000 residents in Manhattan. We garner more than 15 million pageviews a month across our network of sites.

Please send cover letter, resume and three pertinent clips to jobs@therealdeal.com with “Los Angeles managing editor” in the subject line.
