Tech Insider is hiring a reporter to cover the world of innovation and design. It will be your job to find the most interesting angles on what’s happening in the realms of architecture, design for the developing world, product design, urban design, and everything in between — and then report what you find to our readers.
Our style is smart, conversational, exciting and geared toward a general audience. That means you’ll be called on to write quick aggregated posts, provocative essays, and feature stories, among other things.
This position is based either out of Business Insider’s New York or San Francisco headquarters.
The ideal candidate will have:
— An interest in the design trends that will shape how we live and work in the future.
— An understanding of how to write about design for a broad audience.
–The ability to make complex ideas easy to understand.
