Tampa Bay Times announces newsroom internship

The Tampa Bay Times is offering a 10-week, paid weekly internship where summer interns gain hands-on experience, working alongside staffers who offer guidance and respect them as equals.

Interns will be offered training sessions, take ownership of a wide variety of assignments and build relationships with mentors, editors and reporters in the newsroom.

The jobs could include:

  • News reporter
  • Sports reporter
  • Photographer
  • Copy editor
  • Engagement producer
  • Data reporter
  • Audio/video production via the Don Shortell Scholarship
