Springer Publishing owns and operates two websites which act as community and content destinations for nurses at all levels and specialties. These sites also provide rich resources, tools and articles for nurses. These websites include:

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for someone to commit to 25 hours per week to focus on daily content development, coordination, and production for both of their commercial websites. This role will collaborate with with our Advertising, Recruiting and Marketing teams to create content that drives leads, subscribers, and awareness.
Here are some responsibilities:
· Developing and executing on the content strategy for both DN/MN sites and ensuring that the content strategy is aligned with and contributes directly to revenue generation
· Developing and maintaining the editorial content calendar for DN/MN
· Managing the pipeline and budget for writers, authors, and media partners
· Commissioning and managing of freelance copywriters and graphic designers
· Growing the user and subscriber base for Daily Nurse and Minority Nurse by using SEO knowledge to inform the content development and optimization to maximize search rankings
QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree
· Experience: previous work in a similar content creation and management strategy and execution roles, with the same level of responsibility and autonomy.
· Technical Marketing Expertise: SEO-savvy and experience using data to analyze content consumption patterns and adjust content strategy accordingly.
· Organization Skills and Time Management: demonstrated previous success effectively working from home, managing multiple project deadlines and freelance writers.
· Exceptional Writing Skills: comfortable writing as well as editing and managing the full cycle of content development
· Relationship Building: experience developing long-term professional relationships with others and building and maintaining friendly interactions, establishing credibility, and building rapport.
· Previous experience in editing, writing, or managing healthcare-related content is preferred but not required.
· Advanced skill level with WordPress CMS, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and MSWord
