Axios has hired technology reporter Megan Rose Dickey for its new San Francisco newsletter.
Fr the past nine month, Dickey has been chief content officer at Backstage Capital, which invests in what it calls “underestimated” founders.
She had been covering artificial intelligence and diversity, equity and inclusion in the technology industry for Protocol before that.
Dickey was previously a senior reporter at TechCrunch focused on labor, transportation, and diversity and inclusion in tech. She previously spent two years at Business Insider covering tech startups focused on the shared economy, IoT and music industry.
She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2011 with a degree in broadcast and digital journalism.
