Personal Finance Insider is seeking an editor for personal finance coverage

Personal Finance Insider is hiring an editor to help build Business Insider’s personal finance coverage into a go-to money powerhouse.

This person should have:

  • A genuine interest in, and good judgement around, personal finance and money
  • Impeccable organizational skills to manage an editorial calendar and balance multiple projects
  • Interest in working on posts monetized through affiliate or other partnerships
  • Strong communication skills and comfort recruiting and working with freelancers
  • Willingness and excitement around building out a new team, trying new types of stories, and figuring out what best serves our readers
  • The ability to work in fast-paced environment that’s always growing and changing

The ideal candidate will also:

  • Have excellent editing, writing, and researching skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be efficient, energized, and have great story judgement
  • Have an ability to identify the heart of a story quickly
  • Familiarity with SEO practices
