Personal Finance Insider is hiring an editor to help build Business Insider’s personal finance coverage into a go-to money powerhouse.
This person should have:
- A genuine interest in, and good judgement around, personal finance and money
- Impeccable organizational skills to manage an editorial calendar and balance multiple projects
- Interest in working on posts monetized through affiliate or other partnerships
- Strong communication skills and comfort recruiting and working with freelancers
- Willingness and excitement around building out a new team, trying new types of stories, and figuring out what best serves our readers
- The ability to work in fast-paced environment that’s always growing and changing
The ideal candidate will also:
- Have excellent editing, writing, and researching skills
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be efficient, energized, and have great story judgement
- Have an ability to identify the heart of a story quickly
- Familiarity with SEO practices
