The Orlando Sentinel is looking for a senior business reporter to cover Orlando’s major theme parks – Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. The theme parks are among the largest employers in Central Florida, and they drive the economic engine in the area.
Responsibilities:
The reporter needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment – writing short stories quickly for online while developing sophisticated enterprise. The reporter must be adept at using social media to build a following and to share news, as well as comfortable shooting photos and video.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have at least five years of experience at a daily news organization or similar web operation and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Business reporting experience is preferred.
