NY Times seeks deals writer, Wirecutter

Wirecutter is looking for a writer to join its Deals Team.

DUTIES:

  • Scan internal and external deal sources for discounts on Wirecutter picks and evaluate them based on company standards
  • Build and tag affiliate links with the appropriate tracking
  • Write lean copy that gives readers perspective on deal pricing and relevant information from the review
  • Write copy for social media to alert followers to great deals
  • Writing syndications
  • Pitch new article ideas and coverage ideas that can make Wirecutter Deals even more useful to its readers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to work with a remote team, with an emphasis on internal communications
  • A familiarity with the Wirecutter voice and approach to deal coverage
