Wirecutter is looking for a writer to join its Deals Team.
DUTIES:
- Scan internal and external deal sources for discounts on Wirecutter picks and evaluate them based on company standards
- Build and tag affiliate links with the appropriate tracking
- Write lean copy that gives readers perspective on deal pricing and relevant information from the review
- Write copy for social media to alert followers to great deals
- Writing syndications
- Pitch new article ideas and coverage ideas that can make Wirecutter Deals even more useful to its readers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Ability to work with a remote team, with an emphasis on internal communications
- A familiarity with the Wirecutter voice and approach to deal coverage
