McClatchy and The Miami Herald, one of America’s greatest metro newsrooms, is seeking a Senior Audience Growth & Engagement Producer to be the on-the-ground-champion for daily execution of audience growth and reader engagement strategies that amplify our content and connect our newsroom to our local communities.
The successful candidate engages with readers across our platforms, from social media to live events; has demonstrated success in growing newsletters and other news products; and has a firm command of SEO. The candidate also possesses a love of purposeful experimentation informed by data, and will be called on to create promotion plans for story, video and audio presentation and distribution across McClatchy’s Florida markets, including the Miami Herald and the Bradenton Herald.
This role requires an editor who will initiate and dive in on strategies that grow our readership, viewership and listenership, and sustain our subscriber base with long-term loyalty across McClatchy’s Florida sites.
The Senior Audience Growth & Engagement Producer reports to the Audience Development Editor, based at the Miami Herald.
