The candidate will be responsible for researching and writing stories, conducting interviews and attending various local meetings, events and functions. Responsibilities:
- Research and write stories for print and digital media.
- Interview sources and gather information for stories.
- Edit stories for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.
- Stay up-to-date on current events and trends in the industry.
- Develop story ideas and angles.
- Work with editors to ensure stories meet deadlines.
- Develop relationships with sources to ensure access to reliable information.
