Kotaku is looking for pitches on Valorant, Apex Legends, Halo Infinite, FF14, Genshin Impact, Mario Kart Tour, Pocket Camp, Fire Emblem Heroes, New Horizons, Scrabble, Pokemon Masters EX, Pokemon Go.

Kotaku is a news and opinion site about games and things serious gamers care about. It is a game culture outlet and destination that embraces not only game news and reviews, but also the playing community as a whole.

ABOUT THE ROLE
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Attach a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Include links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION

  • ~$150 – $300- . ~$150 for more news-oriented short pieces. $300 to start, more depending on reporting, topic, experience, etc. Reporting much more likely to be accepted. The bar for New Horizons is extremely high.
